Appointments

Appointments may be made by telephoning 01922 775139/40 or by calling at the surgery. Routine 10-minute appointments may be made well in advance (maximum two months), which will enable us to offer you an appointment at a time best suitable to your requirements. You may request the presence of a chaperones at your consultation. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, it will not be possible for you to be seen.

At times when our nurses or doctors are sick or are on annual leave it may be necessary for you to see a locum doctor rather than your regular GP. You will be informed of this situation when you call to book your appointment.

The practice operates a timed appointment system. Whilst appointment times may occasionally run over due to unforeseen circumstances, the clinicians do endeavour to adhere to the appointment time as closely as possible.

Please DO NOT arrive more than 15 minutes before your appointment time as there is no guarantee that you will be seen earlier.

GP Appointments

Please note – your doctor’s appointment is usually for 10 minutes, the NHS recommended time to deal with one problem. If you have multiple problems the doctor may ask you to rebook a longer appointment in order to address your concerns thoroughly without rushing. This also helps the doctor to run on time for the next patient.

Extended Hours

Remember that we also offer extended hours once a week (Monday 18.30 - 19.30) for those patients who are unable to attend the surgery during normal hours due to work commitments.

Online Facilities

You can book/cancel a routine appointment and order repeat medication online at any time day or night without having to wait to get through on the phone.
